Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of Strollverse (the “game”), available at https://strollverse.com. By creating an account, playing or buying the VIP Pass, you enter into a contract with Carles Climent Oltra (Tax ID 20496132G, Calle Cervantes, 3, Llocnou d'En Fenollet (Valencia), Spain), the owner of Strollverse (“we”, “us”), and you accept these terms and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

The Spanish version of these terms is the original; this English version is provided for convenience and has the same content.

1. Age

You must be at least 14 years old to play. If you are under 18, you may only buy the VIP Pass with the permission of your parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for the purchase.

2. Your account

• You need an account (email and password) to play online. It is personal: do not share or transfer it.
• You are responsible for what is done with it. If you think someone has accessed your account, change your password and let us know.
• Your @username and your character’s name are visible to other players. They must not be offensive, impersonate anyone or contain personal data.
• You can delete your account at any time from ⚙️ Settings → Legal → “Delete my account”.

3. The game and virtual goods

• Everything inside the game (in-game money, clothing, pets, homes, businesses, investments, badges, vouchers and any other item) is virtual. It is not real money or property, has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money or for goods or services outside the game.
• We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use those goods inside the game while your account is active. It does not make you their owner.
• In-game money is never sold: it can only be earned by playing.
• We may adjust prices, wages, returns and other game rules to keep the game balanced, and correct balances or items obtained through errors, bugs or cheating.
• The map is the real world, but the position shown and stored is your character’s, not yours. The game does not use your real location. We recommend not sharing where you live in chat.

4. Code of conduct

It is forbidden to:

• Sell, buy or rent accounts, items, in-game money or any virtual goods for real money or for anything outside the game, or to advertise doing so.
• Cheat: modify your save, use bots or programs that play for you, exploit bugs instead of reporting them, or use multiple accounts to gain an advantage (in trades or in the prize draw).
• Attack or interfere with the game, its servers or other players’ accounts, or try to access anything that is not yours.
• Use the game for anything illegal, fraudulent or that infringes other people’s rights.

5. Chat and player content

• Be respectful. Harassment, insults, threats, hate speech, sexual or violent content, spam, advertising and links to scams are not allowed.
• Do not share personal data about yourself or others (address, phone number, social media…), and do not ask other players, especially minors, to give you theirs or to talk to you outside the game.
• What you write in chat, in clubhouse guestbooks or on your profile can be seen by other players. You remain responsible for it and you allow us to display it inside the game.
• Chat messages are automatically deleted after 30 days.
• You can report any abuse to hola@strollverse.com.

6. Suspension and account closure

If you breach these terms we may, depending on the severity and repetition, delete messages, remove improperly obtained virtual goods, mute you in chat, or suspend or close your account. We may also do so in case of security risk, fraud or non-payment. Except in serious or urgent cases, we will notify you by email and you can explain yourself at hola@strollverse.com. If we close your account without you having breached these terms, we will refund the unused proportional part of the VIP Pass you paid for.

7. The VIP Pass

The game is free. The VIP Pass is optional and is the only paid product.

• Price: 4.99 € per month, VAT included. The final tax depends on your country; the exact amount is shown before you pay.
• Billing: monthly subscription that renews automatically every month, on the same date, until you cancel it.
• Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from the link in the Paddle email you receive with each payment, at paddle.net, or by writing to us. Once cancelled you will not be charged again and you remain VIP until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Price changes: we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance; the new price applies from the next renewal and you can cancel before then if you prefer.
• Refunds: see the Refund policy (14 days from each payment).

The VIP Pass gives no economic advantage inside the game: no in-game money, no experience, no faster travel. Items in the VIP shop are bought with in-game money. We may change or add VIP perks over time while keeping equivalent content; if a change significantly harms you, you can cancel and request a refund for the current period.

8. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you pay, you also accept Paddle’s buyer terms. We never see or store your card details.

9. Weekly prize draw rules

• Free: entering costs nothing and no purchase is necessary. Being VIP gives no advantage in the draw.
• Who: any player with an account who complies with these terms. One entry per account per week.
• How: every Monday a world landmark is chosen at random (there are 173; each week on a different continent, with no repeats within a year). To enter, bring your character within 300 m of the landmark before the draw and press “🎟️ Enter”.
• Draw: on Sunday at 20:00 (UTC) the server picks one person at random among that week’s entrants. The result is announced in the game chat.
• Prize: a virtual voucher to get, inside the game, an in-game home worth up to 150,000 € (in in-game money) within 40 km of the landmark. It is a virtual good: it has no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money or anything outside the game, and cannot be sold for real money.
• We may void entries made by cheating or with multiple accounts, and change or suspend the draw with notice in the game.

10. Intellectual property

The game, its code, designs, texts and graphics belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify or exploit them beyond what the game itself allows. The brands that appear in the game are fictional. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

11. Availability and changes to the game

The game is under active development: there may be changes, bugs or interruptions, and we cannot guarantee that it will always work without errors. If we ever shut the game down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice, stop charging for the VIP Pass and refund the unused proportional part of what you paid.

12. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence and for anything that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes to these terms, we will notify you in the game or by email and ask you to accept them again. If you do not agree, you can stop playing, cancel the VIP Pass and delete your account.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence and you keep the protections of the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by contract.
